Who We Are

The Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in January 2020. We started as One Stop Access (OSA) program under One World for Love and Peace in 2014 to provide transitional assistance to newly arriving Arab immigrants and refugees to the United States through Referral Services, Women and Youth Empowerment Programs, and Cultural Integration Activities. We have grown into an independent organization and continued our work as ACCIS.

Since 2014, over 2,000 Arab refugees (mostly from Iraq and Syria) have resettled in the greater Sacramento area. Most newly arriving refugees face a number of issues as they integrate into their new lives:

ACCIS focuses on minimizing the cultural shock, and empowering newcomers to become productive members of the community while preserving their identity. The women empowerment and children enrichment programs raise emotional intelligence and promote wellness in a welcoming atmosphere.
