Sacramento, CA – April 2026 – Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) proudly joins communities nationwide in celebrating Arab American Heritage Month. The 2026 theme, “Many Voices, One Community,” honors the diversity, resilience, and shared values of Arab Americans, while recognizing the next generation of leaders making strides in business, government, education, science, and the arts. Their contributions strengthen understanding, opportunity, and unity in our diverse society.

 

Arab American Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate heritage, affirm identity, and amplify Arab American voices. Through culture, connection, and community, we reaffirm that while our stories are many, we remain one community.

 

ACCIS, a volunteer-run organization serving Arab immigrants and refugees in Sacramento, continues to empower families through successful transition and integration. Through women’s empowerment, youth development, cultural arts, and community engagement programs, ACCIS supports individuals in becoming productive, self-sufficient members of the community.

 

In 2025, ACCIS proudly hosted Sacramento’s first Arab American Heritage Festival, bringing together food, music, art, and community celebration. With continued community support, we look forward to making this festival an annual tradition. This year, ACCIS will host a gathering featuring food, music, and art to honor Arab heritage and build bridges across cultures.

 

As ACCIS grows, we are currently recruiting for a President and a Board Chair to help lead the organization into its next chapter of impact and sustainability.
